Castle Neuschwanstein is situated in the East of Allgäu near Schwangau and close to Füssen. It is built by the "Märchenkönig"  Ludwig II. of Bavaria.

Neuchwanstein ist the most known of his castles. Architecture and inventory are of the romantic "Historismus". Close to this castle there is the also beautiful
